The ECG is not meant to be used when running or moving and its certainly not meant to "measure heart rate" although that is one of the metrics you get from it. It is meant to measure your heart rhythm to identify if you have any dangerous problems like arterial fibrillation and it does this by measuring the electrical impulses across your heart. You would ONLY ever do this A) to check your heart initially when you get the watch to determine if you have an issue and B) if you feel weird like your heart is skipping a beat then you would take a reading and in this scenario you can sit down for 30 seconds, otherwise you really don't care that much. If you just want pulse while running, well it has a heart rate sensor built into the back of the device which is also super accurate and runs continuously while you are doing a workout. It sounds like your issues with the watch were based on a misunderstanding about how the device works and what you should expect from it. Personally, I have been using Apple watches since the Series 2 (2, 4, 7 & now Ultra 1). I do a lot of mountain biking, hiking, skiing etc and its great for GPS tracking my activities and also for getting directions while out on the trail (using a 3rd party app called WorkOutDoors). I also use Siri A LOT for things like creating calendar events, reminders, adding stuff to my shopping list, changing the music while driving, quickly checking the weather etc. For me it is a very useful device and I will continue to use it for years to come.

I own a dealership, very small all we charge is the sale price and the taxes and registration that’s it! People have advised me that we could charge extra fees and people will pay them I’ve thought about it but never have. Something about that just seems wrong.

I still find some pretty decent sport wear out there. Except for allo. I went in the store to check out their stuff. It’s all leisure. It’s hardly about yoga or any other sport. Maybe light sportive activity. But I admit the fabric is nice. And I hate their logo.

I found that when I seriously got into weight lifting 15 years ago, I really did need seperate clothing. 100% based cotton items at the gym at that time were more prone to shrinking/staining/smelling/overheating/tearing. I don't think it's vain or mindless for the youth to want to dress in what makes them feel good. When I was younger, looking good in the gym was highly motivating. It's interesting that synthetics may pose a health risk, but are there not similar risks with 'natural fibers'? Won't they contain herbicides/pesticides from farming practices, conditioners for the materials, bleaching and dyes...?

Many plastic reusable bags become very ugly in less than a year… They wrinkle and their colors fade… They make you look like a hobo and make store detectives follow you 😒

I go to the gym 5-6 times a week and run with my dogs nearly daily-- but I tend to wear merino wool since it's moisture wicking, cotton clothing since it doesn't stink like the polyester. my bikinis are from a company that uses recycled ocean plastics but honestly the best place to get athletic clothing is thrift stores , second hand from garage sales because the older stuff is better made than the new stuff I'm seeing on the shelves. also merino socks are great for everyday or workout wear since it moisture wicks and keeps sweaty feet dry.

I had some uniqlo items that lasted about 15 years of heavy use; the brand may not deliver as some years ago, but textiles really hold much much better than some other basic-style popular brands like Gap (very thin see through tshirts).

The same is true for cold weather clothing - there used to be clothes specifically for mountaineering that were extremely high quality, but they are almost impossible to find these days - the few that still exist cost four figures. I turned to military cold weather clothing which is much higher quality but can be had for a few hundred, but you have to live with camo....

All this channel does is tell us what is NOT future proof, what we should not use, why the product is a marketing gimmick or how it is not really what it claims! That's what your name should be "Not Future Proof". You guys should maybe try and find products that are really sustainable, not marketing gimmicks and truly offer good value to the consumer!

Imo trucks are better, more room to get under the hood and fix stuff compared to a tiny car, not to mention a pushrod V8 in a truck is hell of a lot easier to service compared to a DOHC 4 banger in a regular car, maybe cuz I have more experience with them but trucks are just simpler

I never once fell for a temu ad I already learned my lessons from using wish. My money is valuable and I will pay more to get a half decent product, and not something that I will either regret buying or will end up throwing out within a week after purchasing.

When they phased our the single use plastic bags in my area stores started offering heavier duty plastic bags with handles that were intended to be reused. I liked them because they were sturdy enough to hold up but thin enough that they could be folded up and put in a back pocket or door side pocket of my car. It was the most practical solution and I still use them even though they are getting harder to find new.

Sir even if that was the case, you'd also realize that BBW's candles use a blend of paraffin/soy/etc. They even have a signature collection that is 100% vegetable (soy) wax. Fragrances can also be either synthetically created by understanding the molecules that produce scent from an item (like an orange), or using the essential oil of that item.

Tactical clothes make sense - chafing your body during long runs or being uncomfortable during working out is bad. Most of these clothes are the cheapest in my wordraw and I own most of them for over five years and they are still holding up. For daily, I am coming back to natural materials as much as possible. I would like to buy a choodie with hemp, cannot find it in ordinary brands so far.

I like the Lulu bottoms. The ones I've had are on 3+ years including a lot of outdoor and gym time. So I probably have a six pack worth of plastic bottles under my skin.
